Happy World is a fantastic series that has sadly languished in scanlation hell for far too long. The series has not seen a consistent English release since 2004, and we want to change that. In fact, we are determined to finish this series as quickly as possible, as it becomes truly incredible in the later volumes.

Unfortunately, we lack one thing that will allow us to do this: a real translator. Kefit doesn’t actually know very much Japanese, and it took him many hours over the course of several days to complete the translation for chapter 38. Simply put, he can’t really translate anything more than this, and even if he did it would probably be far too inaccurate to be usable. So unless we get a translator we can’t really do anything more.

However, as we said before, we are determined to see this series through to completion as quickly as possible. Yu-rin is a skilled and dedicated editor eager to begin work as soon as he gets his hands on translations, Kefit is an absolute Happy World fanatic who will do everything in his power to make sure that things get done, and we’ve got raws for the rest of the series. We just need a translator in order for the magic to happen. In fact, we might even consider paying for a translator’s services if he or she is dedicated and speedy enough.
